Hungary: Tax Package Passed
The Hungarian Parliament passed the new government’s first tax package on 22 July 2010. The most important change is the lowering of the corporate tax rate to 10% for the part of the tax base that does not exceed HUF 500 million (approximately EUR 1.8 million).

“And the CHSH LAWard 2010 goes to …”
CHSH has answered this question in cooperation with the Director of Studies for Commercial Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Wien). With a total prize fund of €3,500, the CHSH Best Thesis Award (LAWard 2010) is presented to those students who have written the best academic papers on the subject of commercial law.
