Kalss Seminar 2012

On 24 and 25 February 2012, the annual M&A seminar organised in cooperation with the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Department of Civil and Corporate Law) will be held by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Susanne Kalss as part of the “CHSH Academy”. This year the seminar is dedicated to the subject of “M&A – Fundamental Issues Concerning Civil Law”. CHSH will be represented at the seminar by Dr. Edith Hlawati, Managing Partner, and Dr. Albert Birkner, LL.M., Head of the M&A Practice Group at CHSH.
Following the huge success of previous seminars over the past four years, theory and practice will meet once again during this seminar which aims to provide students and graduates with an insight into what corporate lawyers do, as well as to give participants an idea of the issues they are currently faced with. Making contact with promising young students of law while they are still at university or immediately after they have graduated is another aim of the seminar.

Participants will discuss the subject of “M&A – Fundamental Issues Concerning Civil Law” over the course of two days in the ambient surroundings of a conference hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of Vienna, together with lawyers from the institute and from CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati.

Success12 – Berufs- und Karrieremesse am 21.03.2012

Auch in diesem Jahr ist CHSH auf der Success 2012, der größten Berufs- und Karrieremesse für JuristInnen im deutsprachigen Raum, vertreten. Interessierte StudentInnen bzw. AbsolventInnen wird die Möglichkeit geboten, detaillierte Informationen zum Arbeitgeber CHSH einzuholen, sich über Berufsmöglichkeiten zu informieren sowie sich mit ExpertInnen aus der Praxis auszutauschen. 

Am Messetag wird Herr Dr. Thomas Trettnak, LL.M., Partner im Bereich Corporate & Commercial bei CHSH, zum Thema „Studieren im Ausland – verlorene Zeit oder Karrierekick“ referieren. Dr. Trettnak wird im Rahmen seines Vortrages auf die Vor- und Nachteile eines Auslandsstudiums eingehen.

CHSH ist auch bei der im Rahmen der Success12 stattfindenden Recruiters-Night am 20.03.2012 vertreten. Hier wird Young Professionals sowie Top-AbsolventInnen ermöglicht, direkt mit den Personalverantwortlichen der Kanzlei Gespräche über eine mögliche berufliche Zusammenarbeit zu führen.
