The ‘very responsive’ Clemens Hasenauer led advice to OMV on the sale of a 49% stake in Gas Connect Austria to a consortium formed by Allianz Group and Snam. Albert Birkner assisted Immofinanz with its acquisition of a 26% stake in CA Immobilien Anlagen from O1, a private equity and venture capital firm.

Dispute Resolution (Tier 2)

CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati ‘always provides a clear strategy’ and is particularly active in infrastructure, construction and post-M&A disputes, as well as high-value inheritance cases. The ‘outstanding’ Irene Welser heads the team, which represents several government-related entities, including Asfinag and Vienna International Airport, insurance companies and private clients.

Contentious and non-contentious merger control work constitutes a key element of CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati’s ‘pragmatic’ team, which also handles cartel investigations, state aid and other competition law matters.
